The Nantes Institute for Advanced Study is organising a new half-day doctoral training session on the morning of Monday, 8 June 2026, in partnership with Nantes Université. This event offers doctoral candidates the opportunity to engage in dialogue with fellows currently in residence at the Institute, as well as with former fellows who are now pursuing international research careers. It provides a unique space to share diverse experiences and discuss the contemporary realities of academic research.
Building on the success of the 2025 edition -highly appreciated by both doctoral participants and speakers - this session aims to foster interaction, the sharing of experiences, and reflection on research trajectories. The programme will include open discussions, collective exchanges, and feedback on academic pathways, working methods, and international research contexts.
This initiative is part of the partnership between Nantes Université and the Nantes Institute for Advanced Study, supporting research training and encouraging openness to international academic environments.
