Festival IDEAL

The Festival IDÉAL explores the narratives and imaginaries needed to address the challenges of societal transformation. A true laboratory of ideas and experiences, it brings together artists and researchers who question history, harness empathy as a political tool, and envision desirable futures.

Each year, in Nantes and its surroundings, performances, conferences, and discussions invite the public to engage in a collective, accessible, and inclusive reflection, blending arts and sciences in a spirit of sharing and concrete utopia.

A festival conceived and organized by TU-Nantes,
In partnership with Pannonica, Stereolux, Passage Sainte-Croix, the Utopiales Festival, Le Cinématographe, the Musée d’arts de Nantes, ASKIP, Bain Public – Saint-Nazaire, Maison Fumetti, ENSA (School of Architecture), ENSBAN (School of Fine Arts), IEA Nantes, the media libraries and libraries of Nantes and Rezé, and Nantes University.
