Anne-Marie Filaire Exhibits “Loire, a Photographic Expedition”

Date
From 10/10 to 14/12/2025

Photographer for the International of Rivers and Other Elements of Nature project and artist-in-residence at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Nantes in January 2025, Anne-Marie Filaire presents her work on the Loire in a new and original exhibition, Loire, a Photographic Expedition.

This exhibition is part of the 2025 Photography Season of the Maine-et-Loire Department, entitled “The Loire, a Sensitive Space”, and is organized in partnership with the Mission Val de Loire. It invites visitors to Les Ponts-de-Cé to discover the river at human scale, revealing its intimate and ever-shifting geography. Through around thirty photographs and several videos, Anne-Marie Filaire offers a sensitive vision of the Loire, from its source to its estuary, blending visual poetry and territorial investigation.

The exhibition will be inaugurated on October 10, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. in Les Ponts-de-Cé, in the presence of Anne-Marie Filaire.
It will be open to the public from October 11 to December 14, 2025, from Tuesday to Sunday, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., offering visitors a space to encounter a body of work where visual poetry, documentary perspective, and territorial exploration intertwine.
