The project began with the “Loire parliament”, public hearings designed to recognize and defend the rights and voices of the Loire. Camille de Toledo is continuing this work on the rights of nature and the legal personalization of ecosystems. Together with Charlène Descollonges, they will talk about this citizen process, which aims to give power and autonomy to entities of nature.

Camille de Toledo
A writer, artist and Doctor of Comparative Literature, he is the author of numerous essays mixing writing styles and genres, notably autobiographical narratives and micro-fictions. His latest essay Le fleuve qui voulait écrire (Ed. les liens qui libèrent, 2021) is a finalist for the Prix du livre d'environnement awarded by the Nouvel Observateur newspaper. He is currently a research associate at the Institut d'Etudes Avancées in Nantes.
Charlène Descollonges
A hydrological engineer, she specializes in the strategic management of water resources and aquatic environments. She is also co-founder of the Pour une hydrologie régénérative association.
