Executive Director & General Secretary
Missions
I take part in the discussions and decisions of the Institute's collegiate management team, and ensure that these ideas are translated into action by relaying them to the team whose work I supervise. I'm responsible for monitoring and implementing the work of the various bodies, implementing the budget and rolling out new projects.
Career
Initially trained in the book trade, I went on to study anthropology at Nanterre Paris X, focusing on Central America. I didn't defend my thesis, however, because I was drawn into the fascinating world of humanities publishing. I then went on to manage regional structures for books, with a view to supporting the book and reading industry and making the link with public policy. I joined the Institute in March 2022 as Secretary General. I became Executive Director in January 2023.
Interests
Books are the source of everything, and literature and essays are perfect companions. I've travelled a lot and I'm happy to have the impression that the world is now coming to me. I'm passionate about human relations, psychology, cooperation and the transmission of knowledge... about oneself and the world.
