Created in 2004, the Network of European Institutes for Advanced Study (NetIAS) is an informal exchange and dialogue network bringing together 24 institutes for advanced study in Europe (from Norway to Romania, Sweden to Italy, Finland to Israel).
Key members include Berlin's Wissenschaftskolleg, the Netherlands Institute for Advanced Study, Vienna's Institut für die Wissenschaften vom Menschen, Uppsala's Swedish Collegium of Advanced Study, Jerusalem's Institute for Advanced Study and Collegium Budapest. The Institut d'études avancées de Nantes is a member of this network.
