SEFRI - University of Fribourg
Since December 2013, the Institut d'études avancées de Nantes and the Fribourg university have been collaborating, with the support of SEFRI (the Swiss Confederation's State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation), to promote research on the institutional frameworks of life in society (law, language, religion), on the notion of humanism and its role in today's scientific landscape, and on interdisciplinarity in the humanities and social sciences.
This collaboration is supported by a series of conferences and workshops, and by the encouragement of applications from Swiss researchers for research stays at the Institut d'études avancées de Nantes.
