We are delighted to announce the appointment of Luis Mora Rodriguez as Head of the Foreign Affairs Office at the University of Costa Rica.
Comprising a team of 22 people, this office is responsible for the University's internationalisation policy. It manages international agreements and supports civil servants studying abroad for their specialist and doctoral degrees. It is in charge of relations with embassies and manages academic cooperation agreements (student and teacher exchanges, financial management of projects, etc.).
As for Maria, his wife, she is now the coordinator of the new Gender Unit, which aims to establish all institutional policies in terms of gender for the University of Costa Rica. This unit is tackling all the issues faced by women, reorganising existing case law, building institutional policies and coordinating specific activities.
