This conference inaugurates the ‘Living within planetary limits’ chair by outlining a manifesto for a new strategic horizon for planning and architectural policies in the light of the new ecological regime.
What emerges is an architecture where dismantling, decommissioning and redirecting offer new paths that are as uncomfortable as they are euphoric, and where the disciplines of planning are forced to produce unprecedented creativity.
