Since 2013, the Institut d'études avancées de Nantes has partnered with the Festival des 3 Continents (African, Latin American and Asian cinema) to host the Produire au Sud workshop, organized every year since 2000 by the Festival.
This workshop trains young producers and directors in the techniques and tools of international cinematographic co-production, with a focus on individual support for developing projects.
Each year, Produire au Sud participants take advantage of their presence at the Institut to exchange views with residents, particularly on the challenges facing the international film industry.
