The Institut d'études avancées in Nantes and Le Cinématographe are joining forces with the ambition of the IDÉAL Festival at TU-Nantes to build bridges between artistic practices and the sciences.
This year, the focus is on a dialogue between Sergio Coto Rivel, a Franco-Costa Rican researcher at the Institute working on the relationships between history and literature in Latin America, and Maryne Lanaro, director of the company Le Grand Dehors. The duo will offer a Shared Conversation within the framework of the festival: "Feminine and Terranaissant Imaginaries: Tools Against the Domination of Spaces."
At Le Cinématographe, Sergio Coto Rivel and Maryne Lanaro will present two films that echo this conversation:
At 4:15 PM: L’Homme a mangé la terre by Jean-Robert Viallet
At 6:45 PM: Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind by Hayao Miyazaki
