Camila Perruso holds a doctoral thesis entitled "The Right to a Healthy Environment in International Law" from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne in co-tutelage with the University of São Paulo. She was a research assistant at the Collège de France, a teaching and research assistant at the University of Paris, and in charge of the coordination of the IdEx project "Corporate Social Responsibility: identification and classification of legal tools" at the University of Strasbourg. In Brazil, she was a research assistant at the São Paulo Law School of Fundação Getulio Vargas and the Center for Study of Violence at the University of São Paulo. The Anna Caroppo Fellowship has awarded her - Fondation du Collège de France (2018-2019), Sylff Research Abroad (2011-2012), and The Ryoichi Sasakawa Young Leaders Fellowship Fund Program (2009- 2010). By and large, she focuses on the study of the internationalization of law and the interactions between human rights and environmental protection, as well as on the metamorphosis of classical legal categories induced by globalization phenomena.
Crossing systems, crossing knowledge. Indigenous peoples and environmental protection
The research project is entitled "Crossing systems, crossing knowledge. Indigenous Peoples and Environmental Protection" focuses on analyzing the interactions between indigenous and State normative systems in the context of environmental protection in Latin America. The articulation between these different levels of internormativity illustrates the transformations of law that the ecological crisis has brought about.
