Pauline Théon: A Unique Perspective on the Institut

We had the pleasure of working once again with Pauline Théon, a talented photographer, who captured some of the key moments of this year at the Institut. During the week of October 14th, she took the time to photograph each fellow, team member, and several of our partners. Her portraits will serve to highlight the faces of those who bring the Institut to life throughout the year.

A portrait, a story

Pauline Théon has a special gift for capturing authenticity and emotion. Her portraits are not just pictures; they tell a deeper story. Each image subtly conveys the relationships and moments of life, capturing the essence of each person. Pauline also brought along a Rolleiflex film camera, a classic piece of equipment, and took unique, one-of-a-kind photographs of each person. These analog shots, timeless and distinctive, add an extra dimension to her work.

Moments of connection

Beyond the individual portraits, Pauline also documented the launch event cocktail, capturing the atmosphere and interactions between participants. Her work reflects the energy of these moments while staying true to her ability to seize spontaneous and authentic interactions. It was also Pauline who, during the 15th anniversary week last June, captured the key moments of our celebration, consistently showcasing her expertise and sensitivity.
