The Nantes Institute for Advanced Studies hosted a day of exchanges with Álvaro García Linera, organized by the Solidarity of the Future research axis of Nantes Université. This meeting is part of a six-year seminar on commons and future solidarities.
The day began with presentations from the main contributors to the seminar, providing a deeper understanding of its challenges and goals. A highlight was the roundtable led by Diego Landivar, fellow of the Habiter le monde au prisme des limites planétaires chair, who engaged in a discussion with Álvaro García Linera on practical approaches to societal change.
Following an informal lunch, the afternoon continued with discussions, culminating in a lecture by Álvaro García Linera. Participants, including many representatives from social movements, expressed their satisfaction with the event, highlighting the inspiration they gained from the exchanges.
