In 2014, Le tour du monde des concepts, edited by Pierre Legendre and published in the "Poids et mesure du monde" collection by Fayard, took an in-depth look at nine word-concepts patiently shaped in Europe over the centuries, and showed how these concepts are understood in 9 non-Western languages.
