Living Through the Lens of Planetary Boundaries" Festival - "Supporting the Ecological Redirection of Territories

Date
19 June 2025

The climate emergency is a manifestation of a major anthropological shift, affecting our social organization, land-use practices, and problem-solving methods. Among current territorial strategies, ecological redirection offers an opportunity to rethink our approaches to land development and habitation.

Throughout this day, through roundtables, experience-sharing sessions, workshops, and serious games, we will explore ecological redirection and the conditions for its implementation. How can it be financed? How can our professions evolve? How does it challenge our paradigms based on attractiveness and growth? And what coalitions and cooperative models can be proposed to support all the actors in these territories?

Diego Landivar, the first resident of the Living Through the Lens of Planetary Boundaries chair, along with the Agency for Urban Planning of the Nantes Region, the National School of Architecture of Nantes/Nantes University, the Institute, and SCE/KERAN will conclude a year of collective work and present the progress of their reflections.
